For the sixth year, Taos Onstage will delight audiences with a live holiday radio play and dinner theatre. This year we will perform the Christmas classic, It's a Wonderful Life. Holiday spirit abounds as we transport back to the 1940s where radio actors appear before a live studio audience and read from scripts to tell the story of George Bailey who wishes he had never been born, and his guardian angel, Clarence, who shows him what life would have been like in Bedford Falls without him. Swift and entertaining, funny and sentimental, It's a Wonderful Life is all about the values of basic goodness and sacrifice, the pitfalls of greed and commercialism, and the gifts of friendship, love, and belonging that help us feel truly connected in a society.
Director Dianne Davis is looking for men and women, ages 16 to adult, to fill a variety of roles. Each cast member may play several different characters. Previous acting experience is not required. Auditions will be cold readings. No preparation required.
Performance Dates: December 18-19
